This session provides an examination of Evaluation Capacity within diverse cultural contexts. As global interactions increase, understanding the intersection of evaluation practices with various cultures becomes crucial for professionals in the field. The session comprises four distinct paper presentations, each focusing on a unique aspect of Evaluation Capacity:

1. Achieving Educational Equity through Trust-Based Partnerships: Explore a novel approach to bolster Evaluation Capacity by fostering trust-based partnerships in educational settings. This paper underscores the significance of cultural considerations in evaluation practices.


2. Strengthening VOPEs in East Africa through Peer-to-Peer Learning: Delve into the experience of the Uganda Evaluation Association and discover how cross-cultural collaboration through peer-to-peer learning empowers Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluations (VOPEs).


3. Integrating Cultural Responsiveness and Systems Thinking in Organizational Evaluation Capacity: Gain insights from a scoping review on the integration of culturally responsive and systems thinking frameworks into evaluation. This paper offers practical guidance for navigating complex cultural contexts.


4. Evaluating Czech Social Services Organizations: Explore the evaluation landscape in the Czech Republic, where nonprofits face unique challenges in building Evaluation Capacity within their cultural and institutional contexts. This paper provides valuable lessons for evaluation professionals worldwide.
