In recent years, Oxfam Novib has moved towards implementing large multi-year, multi-country projects committed to transforming systemic imbalances in complex contexts. With this ambition, the teams working on learning, monitoring, evaluation and knowledge management, have correspondingly sought to adjust their methods to design and step up collaborative, inclusive narrative development which enables them to make sense of the transformation trajectories underway. The proposed presentation will explore the challenges of ‘making the case’ for ourselves, four our donors and our partners through diverse, complementary pieces of evidence--and the power of story to weave them together.
