Kristin Duppong Hurley, Ph.D. is a Research Scientist, at Boys Town National Research Hospital located in Omaha, Nebraska. I am involved in a variety of human services and K-12 evaluation projects and I have been a member of AEA for over 20 years. My research is broadly focused on intervention development, testing, and implementation for families of students with emotional or behavioral needs. I am currently exploring the impact of support interventions for families of students with emotional or behavioral disorders. This research includes investigating role of peer support to engage parents and as well as novel ways to text information to families to encourage their engagement in their child's school and mental health services. I am also examining ways to improve implementation monitoring systems and examining how implementation is related to outcomes of in-home family-support services for families involved in the child welfare system.
