Candace Meadows, MPH serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives for the Emory COMPASS Coordinating Center, the administrative lead of the Gilead COMPASS Initiative®. Candace’s scope of work includes leading and sustaining strategic partnerships, collaborations and special projects to amplify the impact of the Emory COMPASS Center and the Gilead COMPASS Initiative®. Candace also co-manages the Center’s Community Advisory Board, which provides program and funding recommendations and guidance to Center leadership. Prior to her current role, Candace served as the Deputy Director of PRISM (Programs, Research, & Innovation in Sexual Minority) Health, Administrative Director of the Emory COMPASS Coordinating Center, Program Manager for the Prevention Science Core of the Emory Center for AIDS Research (CFAR), and Program Coordinator for the Southeast AIDS Training and Education Center (SEATEC) at Emory University. Candace has a strong interest in developing programs that intentionally intersect art, public health, and health equity as strategies to amplify and advocate for community health needs especially among communities significantly impacted by social and political determinants of health.
