Local evaluators and analysts are often at the front lines of communicating information, and their storytelling capacity is critical to effectively conveying monitoring and evaluation results. Join this session to hear about the development and implementation of a targeted course in data visualization to help locally based project teams build their own storytelling capacity. The session will include an overview of the course structure, provide examples of content, and discuss how the course has been adapted over time to different audience needs. The session will also include a video presentation from the USAID/Vietnam Learns team on how the training equipped them to use storytelling best practices to communicate assessment results to different stakeholders. Participants will learn what works to build storytelling capacity from the ground up in stakeholders, partners, and their own teams.
