Marian Ware is a Senior Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager and advisor of the Political Inclusion Community of Practice at the International Republican Institute. She leads IRI’s inclusive MEL efforts and has a particular interest in using participatory methods to engage with marginalized communities and ensure IRI’s programs match their needs and priorities. She has been at IRI since 2016, when she started as a Program Associate in the Middle East and North Africa division. Marian holds a master's degree in Peace and Conflict Management Studies from the University of Haifa, in Haifa, Israel, as well as a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Humanities from the University of Colorado at Boulder. From 2013-2015, Marian lived and taught English in Amman, Jordan. Marian has traveled throughout the Middle East and speaks both Arabic and French conversationally. She loves spending time singing in a choir, reading, rock climbing and hiking in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, where she lives with her husband (Kevin), one-year-old kiddo (Sage), dog, three cats, four chickens, and snake.
