Lauren Dixon is a queer emerging evaluator and practitioner in the southern United States. They value diversity in skillset and perspective-shifting. They have a decade of community-engaged work experience in a vairety of roles; their favorites were emergency medical technician, social worker, and canine coach. They earned a dual bachelor's from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. They have research and evaluative experience as service provider, interviewer, "data nerd", and assistant project manager. Their interests are positive youth development, behavior change, and community health. They envision a future in which evaluation uplifts the common good and that evaluators act in service to the evaluand and communities - first and foremost.
