Hannah Douglas is a current PhD student in the Educational Psychology program at the University of Arizona. As someone deeply invested in higher education as a student, instructor, and assessment coordinator, Hannah is engaged in ongoing research and service aimed at facilitating student success through trauma-informed approaches, specifically looking at how educators can shift methods of interacting and responding to students impacted by trauma through the influence of social support, connectedness, and positive interpersonal relationships. Additionally, she is involved with the Center for Educational Assessment Research and Evaluation (CEARE) Lab where she is invested in evaluation efforts for underrepresented students in STEM summer research programs, specifically looking at sense of belonging, self-efficacy, and student identity.
