Dana Minney has seven years experience as a data leader conducting program evaluation in education and ten years as a consultant using coaching and project management tools to work with individual clients and teams. Earning a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a Program Evaluation emphasis preceded her transition into K12 education where she applies research methods and analysis to district improvement efforts. Dana continues to advocate for equity-focused change and was awarded a More Just World scholarship for her doctoral study on data-informed decision-making at St. Edward’s University. Other career highlights include a multi-year field study on social and emotional learning in after school care that resulted in two publications, one in the Journal of Youth Development.
Dana brings a passion for enabling positive change for all students, caregivers, communities, and organizations by sharing tools to identify and measure developmental goals. Dana is a voracious reader–of both fiction and non-fiction, has a vast curiosity for new sources of best practice evidential research, and continually strives for her personal best.
