Brooklyn, New York, United States
Megan Kelly, MPA, is the Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies Program Officer at CARE USA. In her role on the VOCAL (Voice, Organizational Capacity, Advocacy, and Leadership) team, she coordinates programmatic and MEAL activities across two projects -- Women's Voice and Leadership in Humanitarian Settings, a five-year project funded by USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Affairs, and Call to Action Field Implementation, a 2.5-year project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. In addition to supporting the MEAL aspects of these two projects via a feminist evaluation approach, she also develops broader learning products such as the report she is presenting at AEA that capture good practices and lessons learned from equal partnerships with grassroots global women leaders. Prior to her current position, she worked at the National Endowment for Democracy on their Latin America programs team.
