Kate Stephenson, M.S., is a Child Welfare Evaluation Specialist with ICF. As an experienced researcher, she works in the field of child welfare to enhance training efforts, support program planning, and the successful implementation and evaluation of programs to improve systems and improve outcomes for children and families. Throughout her career, Ms. Stephenson has applied her expertise in psychology and knowledge of workforce principles to improve human services agencies around the country. In her current role, she collaborates with State and Local Project teams to implement organizational change focused on child and family well-being, as well as the design and implementation of prevention services plans in alignment with the Family First Prevention Service Act. Her professional interests include improving systems through high-quality research and program evaluation; developing processes and measures that provide clients with ongoing, sustainable, and actionable insights; and building data-informed practices to enhance the well-being of children, families, and frontline human service professionals.
