Ms. Oluyemisi Ajoke Oloniyo, M.Ed., M.A., a dedicated and accomplished Educational Psychologist currently affiliated with Washington State University, embarked on her journey toward excellence in education in Nigeria. Born May 11th, she has channeled her lifelong passion for research and evaluation into a remarkable academic and professional trajectory.
Ms. Oluyemisi's pursuit of academic excellence led her to Washington State University, where she furthered her education. In 2023, she achieved a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology, and her master's thesis, "Evaluating Early Childhood Education Programs," showcased her commitment to improving educational practices. She is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology, commencing in 2023. Her research interests span various critical educational topics, from early childhood education to trauma-informed education, underscoring her dedication to advancing the field.
With a strong academic foundation, Oluyemisi has significantly contributed to education. She was an External Evaluator for NSF-funded projects, such as the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program and a Collaborative Research project focusing on writing transfer in engineering lab courses. Her expertise in evaluation and dedication to enhancing educational initiatives make her an invaluable asset to the field.
Ms. Oloniyo's research interests encompass a broad spectrum, including early childhood education, program evaluation, self-concepts, and trauma-informed education. Her work promises to shape the future of education by addressing critical issues and improving student learning outcomes. Her role as the Collegiate Recovery Project Coordinator at Washington State University, collaborating with the State of Washington Collegiate Recovery Support Initiative (SWCRSI), highlights her commitment to supporting students in their educational journey.
