Adreana Tipton is a Health Scientist with CDC's Division of Overdose Prevention. Prior to working with CDC, Adreana developed her pharmacy management skills as a District Performance Coordinator at CVS Health. She monitored pharmacists' compliance with DEA and state regulations and has brought her community pharmacy perspective to DOP. During her graduate program, Adreana assisted the Georgia Department of Public Health during the outbreak of COVID-19 as a Contact Tracer and served as a graduate research assistant for the Georgia Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GA-GWEP), a program launched by Emory University to study geriatric care preparation within the medical workforce curriculum. Adreana is a proud native of Atlanta, obtaining her MPH from Mercer University and BS in psychology from Georgia State University. In her free time, she enjoys girls’ nights with her friends, finishing macrame projects, and cuddling with her senior Chihuahua, Missy.
