Paul Lagunes is a social scientist with over twenty years of experience evaluating ways to improve programs and policies that affect public life around the world. Practiced in the design and execution of randomized controlled trials, Lagunes’ work combines quantitative and qualitative methodologies to advance accountability and improve public life. Lagunes has published a book on corruption control (Oxford University Press, 2021), plus two edited volumes, eight journal articles, three book chapters, and three policy papers on a number of topics, including: corruption in public infrastructure development; property tax fraud in New York City; police malfeasance; corruption in Mexico, Peru, and Brazil; and Freedom of Information Laws. Lagunes obtained his Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale University.
