Alexis Lucero, MPH, CHES (she/her) is the Senior Manager of Program Operations at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). She is responsible for managing the development and implementation of suicide prevention education programs and trainings. Prior to her 4+ years at AFSP, she served as the Program Coordinator for the New York State Department of Health's Core State Violence and Injury Prevention Program, leading the sexual violence and intimate partner violence prevention grant priority areas, and a Per Diem Health Educator at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and playing tennis.
