Corbin J. Standley, PhD, is a community psychologist and researcher with more than a decade of experience in research, evaluation, and policy focused on suicide prevention. He has published numerous research articles and book chapters and has presented his research at multiple national and international conferences. As an expert voice in suicide prevention, Dr. Standley’s research in schools, health systems, and communities has helped to transform systems to save lives. As the Director of Impact Communication and Continuous Improvement at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Dr. Standley leads the communication of evaluation findings to diverse audiences and leads the continuous improvement of AFSP programs and initiatives. Dr. Standley earned his doctoral degree in ecological-community psychology from Michigan State University (2023) and holds a Master of Arts degree from MSU (2019) and Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Weber State University (2015).
