Tammiee Dickenson, Ph.D., is Director of the Research, Evaluation, and Measurement (REM) Center in the College of Education at the University of South Carolina. She provides evaluation and research services on education projects funded by federal, state, and local sources. Dr. Dickenson works with a team of evaluators to design and implement utilization-focused evaluations. She specializes in quantitative methods with interest in multilevel modeling and quasi-experimental designs appropriate for education settings. Dr. Dickenson currently serves as lead evaluator for the Carolina Family Engagement Center funded by a Statewide Family Engagement Center grant from the US Department of Education. She also leads efforts on validity studies for the ABC Quality program for early care and education with the South Carolina Department of Social Services, South Carolina’s Quality Rating and Improvement System.
