Katlin Brown, M.Ed. is a mother, evaluator, and PhD candidate in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. A scholar of transformative social and emotional learning (SEL), her research uses grounded theory methodology to examine educators' relationships to SEL in service of equity.
With extensive experience in K-12 schooling, college instruction, and youth development, her evaluative work has spanned a variety of educational contexts in Chicago and New York.
