Arun Karpur, MD, MPH is a physician epidemiologist and a health policy/ health services researcher with over two decades of work across academia and non-profit settings. Dr. Karpur specializes in quantiative methods leveraging large claims or administrative data sets including nationally extant data bases to problematize and evaluate impact of programs aimed to impact healthcare access and costs for vulnerable populations. His work spans across healthcare, workforce development, and social policies in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Karpur has expertise in both population-based experimental and quasi experimental designs and has taught at leading academic institutions in the U.S. He is currenly the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research at the Peterson Center on Healthcare.
