Heather MacArthur is a community-focused researcher and evaluator with a background in Social Psychology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and expertise in research design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and the design and delivery of Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs). She works as a Senior Associate at Blueprint, a public policy research organization located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, dialing in remotely from Nova Scotia, Canada.
In her current work at Blueprint, Heather helps to evaluate programs that are designed to help under-served individuals find meaningful employment, including through execution of Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) to test the impact of these programs. In her academic work, which she continues as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Windsor (ON), she studies issues related to gender and equity, including various forms of gender bias in language and gender-related emotion stereotypes.
