Andrea Nelson Trice, PhD, is the president of Catalyst Research LLC, a Senior Associate of the National Institute for Social Impact, and an affiliate faculty member of Regis University. Andrea earned her doctorate in Higher and Adult Education from The University of Michigan and worked for several years as a faculty member at Purdue University. Over the past two decades she has gained experience as an internal and external evaluator, nonprofit board member, and author. Her consulting and evaluation work with nonprofits and social enterprises has included a variety of clients: Northwestern University, Hope International, Mercy Corp, The Carter Center, The National Academy of Sciences, The National Institutes of Health, and The National Science Foundation.
Andrea also has an active research agenda that focuses on international development and power dynamics across cultures. Her most recent book, Strong Together: Building Partnerships across Cultures in an Age of Distrust, examines the human complexities of establishing social enterprises in emerging markets. It is based on 90 interviews with Majority World and American leaders from five continents.
