Li-Ting Chen is an associate professor at University of Nevada Reno. She has taught online measurement and statistics courses for more than five years. Her research interests include online teaching and learning, evaluation, and research methods. Currently, she is working on an NSF project to use virtual reality in the framework of Community of Inquiry to facilitate mining students' understanding of flotation. She is also collaborating with other scholars on an interdsciplinary research mentoring program, aiming to improve graduate students' confidence, knowledge, and skills to conduct interdisciplinary research.
