Linda Dart-Kathios is the mathematics department chair at Middlesex Community College in Lowell Massachusetts where she has taught for 20 years. Pror to this she was a quality engineer at a printed circuit board manufacturing plant..She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Massachussetts, Lowell in Research and Evaluation in Education. Her research interests included elementary teacher math preparation, math anxiety and discourse in mathematics.
