Martin currently works as the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Systems Advisor at Mercy Corps focusing on integrating technology into MEL for greater efficiency. Martin has worked with Mercy Corps for over five years mostly in northeast Nigeria focusing on MEL for agriculture, youth capacity building, conflict, nutrition, multipurpose cash, protection, shelter, WaSH, resilience, and market systems development. Across his work, Martin has used technology as a pivot point for efficiency. Martin is currently a student at the University of Sussex studying Sustainable Development and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria.
