Patrick Edwards serves as the Director of Patient Support Evaluation for the American Cancer Society, where he conducts program evaluations for patient support programs, including developing data collection tools, gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and disseminating findings. Some of his recent work included leading the evaluation of the National Football League's Crucial Catch program, which aims to improve cancer screening among federally qualified health centers following the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to joining the American Cancer Society, Patrick received his Masters in Global Health Science from the University of Oxford and conducted research as a health economist at RTI International, supporting health economics and policy evaluation for cancer programs. Patrick is based in Durham, North Carolina.
