Kathleen Lis Dean, Ph.D. is a Senior Research and Evaluation Associate with The Rucks Group. Dr. Dean helps organizations leverage evaluation and strategic learning for implementation, improvement, and impact. Drawing on her experience in higher education, nonprofit, and philanthropic organizations and her research on boundary-spanning teams, strategic thinking, and organizational learning, she helps clients make data-informed decisions to achieve their vision. Dr. Dean earned her doctorate degree in Higher Education Policy and Leadership at the University of Maryland. She earned a master’s degree in Education and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Delaware.
