Creative Evaluation Consultant
Coco Canary Consulting, LLC, Minnesota, United States
Molly is a child of the marsh, born and raised in Minnesota (the stolen lands of the Dakota and Anishinaabe people). Molly is a queer cis-woman with white and class privilege who grew up curious about the natural world and a caring heart. Molly has a B.S. in Biology, with minors in chemistry and film production, from the University of Oregon. Molly also has a M.S. in Natural Resources Science & Management, with a minor in Evaluation Studies, from the University of Minnesota.
Molly has in-depth experience as an evaluator in informal education spaces, specifically as an educator and evaluator at the Bell Museum of Natural History.
In 2020, After a deep burnout and a COVID-19 layoff, Molly became an independent consultant and started Coco Canary Consulting. She did this to: (1) Learn and practice culturally responsive, equitable, and creative evaluation approaches; (2) Build a business that breathes joy rather than toxicity; and (3) take time to dismantle systems of oppression (white supremacy, misogyny, etc.) within myself and my professional practice.
There is so much more to Molly. So, if you want to learn more, please don't be shy to say hi to her at the conference. You can also learn more by visiting the Coco Canary website (https://cococanary.com/).
