Ashley Bishop currently serves as a MEL Technical Lead in Winrock International’s AGILE Unit. In this role, she ensures that monitoring, evaluation and learning practices on projects are professionally executed, supporting a portfolio of USAID and US DOL projects in Senegal, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Laos and the Solomon Islands. She has a Master of Evaluation Sciences from American University and a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University. She has spent 15 years working in international development. She began working specifically in M&E when she was trained as a Monitoring & Evaluation Emergency Response Personnel team member at Save the Children, deployed in Niger for the 2009 food crisis. Since then, she has worked at project, program, country, and global levels of M&E design and systems for Save the Children, Plan International, Compassion International and Winrock International.
