Miss Norma Kok is current leading the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Department at Citizen Leader Lab in Cape Town, South Africa where she is evaluating and researching leadership development and support programmes for school leaders. Miss Kok started her career in medical technology, before obtaining her Postgraduate Diploma in Oncology at Nottingham University in the UK. She obtained her Master’s degree in Public Health at the National Yang-Ming University in Taiwan in 2007. She has over a decade’s experience in monitoring and evaluation, including implementing rigorous M&E systems in various national and international non-governmental organizations and academic institutions that work in HIV/AIDS, health equity, humanitarian assistance, rural health and leadership development. She has research experience in various areas such as HIV/AIDS, oncology, diabetes and rural medical education. She has presented at numerous national and international conferences and published an article on school leadership. She is also a co-author of four peer- reviewed articles.
