Lauren VanEnk is an international development practitioner with over 15 of experience working in design, implementation, and management of programs. Lauren is currently the Senior Technical Advisor for Locally Led Development at World Vision US where she guides World Vision’s capacity strengthening strategy with local partners and supports the global World Vision Partnership on localization. Previously, Lauren was a faculty member at Georgetown University’s Institute for Reproductive Health where she designed and led several family planning projects and research studies in Africa. Lauren is particularly passionate about building the capacity of faith-based organizations and religious leaders to be champions for health and wellbeing in their communities. She brings a diversity of technical expertise in the areas of capacity development, resource acquisition, family planning, gender, strategic scale-up, and social and behavior change. She holds an MPH from George Washington University and a BA from Calvin College.
