Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor

Nancy Peek is an M&E specialist with 15 years of experience working on national and international development research and policy analysis, including over ten years monitoring and evaluating USAID activities. Ms. Peek has expertise in evaluation and survey design, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and logic model and indicator development. She has experience designing and implementing monitoring systems and evaluations across development and humanitarian sectors (food security, resilience, climate change, democracy and governance, economic growth). Previously Ms. Peek supported external evaluations for USAID’s Office of Global Climate Change and has worked closely with USAID's Office of Learning, Evalaution and Research. She also served as a Program Cycle Fellow with the Kenya and East Africa Regional Food for Peace Office in Nairobi supporting M&E efforts across emergency and development programs across East and Central Africa (12 countries). She currently works on the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) M&E Team supporting BHA staff and implementing partners to expand their M&E capacity through mentoring, skill-building workshops, and developing tools and BHA M&E policy and guidance. Ms. Peek has extensive experience working across Africa, Asia, and Europe. She holds a MA in Global Policy Studies with a specialization in International Development from the University of Texas.
