Nandini Deo, MPH (she/her) is an Equity Liaison for Oregon Health Authority's Equity Unit. Nandini's expertise lies in community-centered research and program development. For 7 years, she has worked across government, academic, and non-profit sectors to evaluate the needs and experiences of community stakeholders and implement findings into public policy and programming. This has included prevention, programming, evaluation, and research work for the CDC, HIV/STI/TB prevention programs at the Oregon Health Authority and the Utah State Department of Health, the Salt Lake City VA hospital, the Yale LGBTQ Mental Health Initiative, Nashville CARES, and the Elevate Policy Lab. Her past work has focused primarily on the intersections of socially stigmatized identities, particularly LGBTQ+ individuals, racialized communities, people living with HIV, and people currently or formerly incarcerated. Nandini holds a B.S. in International Studies and a B.S. in Health Policy from the University of Utah and an MPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Yale University.
