Edis Osmanovic (MHA) serves as a Research Specialist within the Health Affairs Institute. In this role, Edis provides research and evaluation assistance on the Evaluation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Workforce Training, Public Education, and Outreach Initiatives project, as well as the State Opioid Response Medical Services project. Edis applies a strong foundation of research and insights generated through environmental scans, collecting, and synthesizing data and performing qualitative analysis to build a pipeline for project deliverables.
Prior to joining the Health Affairs team, Edis served as a health system specialist and program evaluation analyst at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital for the Department of Defense in Leonard Wood Missouri. Working as a program evaluator for a United States Army military treatment facility equipped him to deliver evaluative expertise to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services to support programs, initiatives, and organizations that improve health, expand research opportunities, and deliver basic human services to our communities.
Edis has expertise in providing program evaluation, program development and implementation, and training and technical assistance for Home and Community-Based Services in West Virginia. Edis also has survey research experience in behavioral health as he currently works on the State Opioid Response project that seeks to improve how services are delivered.
