Nesma Osman is an Assistant Professor, in Agricultural Education, Leadership, and Communications, at Mississippi State University, where she focuses on Extension program and staff development. She earned her doctoral degree from Virginia Tech in 2022 and subsequently served as a postdoctoral associate for one year, where she served on an evaluation team for numerous sponsored projects. Additionally, she earned a Master of Agricultural and Extension Education degree from Mississippi State University in 2018 and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship in 2016 to pursue her graduate studies. Following her graduation from Cairo University in 2012, she has been employed as a teaching assistant since 2013. Her research focuses on program planning and evaluation for extension programs, specifically those serving underrepresented and underserved communities.
