Elli is a Senior Economic Development Specialist at the Virginia Tech Center for Economic and Community Engagement. In this role, she conducts internal and external evaluations of a range of economic and community development initiatives. Elli is also a PhD Candidate in the Department of Agricultura, Leadership, and Community Education. Her research interests include an exploration of the different ways people in international development think about "impact", especially the ways in which it interfaces with conceptions of causation and justice.
