Krista Grajo, M.A., current Research Coordinator at the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, has half a decade of research and evaluation experience in public health, university, and culturally-specific nonprofit settings. In her work, she employs an intersectional lens and values community-based participatory action research to shed light on inequities, build evidence for culturally-reflective GBV programing, and explore trauma-informed linguistically appropriate prevention practices. Krista is passionate about learning from and working alongside advocates and survivors to mobilize the existing strengths of AAPI and BIPOC communities.
