Jeanette is a development practitioner, whose work is dedicated to creating a more accessible and just world. As an evaluator, she believes in employing mixed methods and human-centered design. Before coming to Creative Research Solutions, Jeanette spent three years in South Africa as an education Peace Corps Volunteer, teaching English at a primary school. She also worked with organizations with a focus on immigrant and refugee populations, and eradicating poverty through a gender justice lens. During that time, Jeanette has worked with small farmers and local agriculture and business experts to create opportunities for social upward mobility and conducted research that added to the conversation for an increase in investment in costs for delivery per vaccine to make the process more equitable and accessible to everyone.
Jeanette received her Masters in Development Practice at Emory University and her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Grinnell College. She was trained in qualitative research methods, participatory approaches, and nonprofit leadership and management. Jeanette hopes to continue to engage in work that uplifts community engagement and builds long-term systemic change.
