Title: Every Picture Tells a Story: Techniques to Allow Young People to Tell Their Story through Images Abstract Information: Qualitative data collection usually relies on written and oral communication. Visual communication methods can be powerful opportunities for people, especially young people, to tell their stories in a different way. This poster shares two techniques for encouraging young people to tell their story through images. These techniques - Photovoice and a reflective comparison process - can yield valuable data to complement a broader evaluation.
