Abstract Information: Cultural revitalization has become a priority for many indigenous nations and communities following centuries of United States governmental policies, structural systems, and violence aimed at cultural genocide. Beyond cultural revival at the tribal or community level, indigenous interventions, such as suicide prevention or food sovereignty programs, often include cultural transmission as a direct or indirect objective. Evaluations of such interventions should include evaluation of cultural transmission to inform process improvement and effectiveness. In this poster presentation, the presenters will share their experience and learnings from evaluation of cultural transmission in four projects restoring traditional foodways in indigenous communities participating in the Center for Indigenous Innovation and Health Equity (CIIHE).
