The story of Health Equity using data

This story emerged from the 2022-23 Community Health Needs Assessment in Laredo, Texas. This project looked at and identified priority health and social determinants of health needs. This project used quantitative data, both publicly available and a robust bilingual community survey, and centered it on qualitative data collected from community leaders and community residents. It demonstrated the power of community voice and community partnerships to advance Health Equity in a community.
