methodology provided a glimpse into program effects on marginalized populations during an evaluation of an Early Warning Early Response Program in Nigeria . In 2021, DRL began partaking in efforts to understand common changes in communities resulting from programs with similar goals funded by multiple Bureaus throughout the US Department of State. MSC methodology was chosen as the most appropriate methodology to collect information on the changes at the community level which was assumed would be related to EWER. However, the findings also provided researchers with an unexpected, nuanced understanding of the impact on marginalized populations within and amongst communities in which the programs operated. This presentation will, therefore, explore ways that evaluators can utilize data collected in a generalized fashion to deduce impact on marginalized populations.
