Nuru International Data Collection; What makes it unique, and how does Nuru incorporate local design in evaluation?

Ian Schwenke is the MEL Specialist at Nuru International, and during the presentation, will open the panel by introducing all of the panelists and their affiliation with Nuru. Ian will continue by discussing how Nuru’s evaluation works, and how Nuru aims to incorporate community viewpoints and local design into evaluation. This will include several unique points over previous years where the data alone has not sufficed to explain true program impacts, and story has been used to improve the understanding of the data, to design for better program impact. Ian will conclude by shifting the conversation to specifically Nuru Nigeria, where he will briefly introduce the 5-year randomized control trial, and how Nuru has worked in Adamawa state since 2019.
