This presentation will give a brief overview of the USAID/Vietnam Learns project and its mandate to support evaluation, learning, and capacity development. One task is to conduct an annual capacity needs assessment of implementing partners' interests and skill gaps, which becomes the basis for workplanning. The presentation will walk through the analysis process and storytelling workshops with the team to identify the key messages for each audience: trends and moderate detail for the wider internal team with more disaggregation options; higher-level takeaways for the donor; and main impacts for the general IP staff. The presentation will show before and after comparisons of the pre- and post-visualized stories for these audiences and discuss what areas of storytelling made the most difference to their audiences.
