Director of Learning and Impact W.K. KELLOGG FOUNDATION, Michigan, United States
The contributions of evaluation managers within the foundation are explored in the complex map of centralization and devolution, strategic and participatory, support and independence. Managers of individual evaluations have significant freedom and responsibility to plan and commission evaluations, which requires significant evaluation capacity at different levels of the organization. The evaluation director plays a key role both as coach and connector for evaluation managers, as well making evaluations tell a meaningful story that is relevant and meaningful for the foundation's leadership. This presentation is informed by experience with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
