Senior Director, Monitoring and Evaluation Millennium Challenge Corporation, United States
All MCC programs must be subject to an independent evaluation, creating a wealth of knowledge on MCC’s investment portfolio. From the earliest days, MCC’s evaluations have been made available to the public. In 2017, with the body of evaluations growing, MCC reflected on ways to tell the story of its programs to the many audiences that could use the findings. Over the last five years, MCC has launched a number of new tools. Evaluation Briefs summarize the key results and learning from MCC’s independent evaluations in a user-friendly, four-page document. They distill key findings and lessons while also pointing to MCC’s publicly available information about our investments. Sector Results and Learning pages are interactive webpages that promote learning and inform program design by consolidating monitoring data, independent evaluation results, and lessons to bring together the full story of the sector . Finally, the MCC Evidence Platform is an accessible repository of MCC analytical reports, evaluation products, and data. The Platform allows searches and filters for information across a number of categories, allowing MCC to tell its results story on critical issues like climate change and gender inclusion.
