Abstract Information: Qualitative data analysis is an essential tool in amplifying participant voices and elevating their perspectives in research. It provides an opportunity to integrate participants' narratives into evaluations. In this session, we will demonstrate various approaches to analyze qualitative data, including both software and non-software based methods. As seasoned evaluators, we have extensive experience in using both approaches and can provide insights on their respective values and uses. Our demonstration will include "manual" approaches that are particularly effective when involving community partners in data analysis, when non-coding-based methods are preferred, or when a more rapid analytical approach is desired to inform decision-making. As certified NVivo trainers, we will also showcase the features of NVivo 14, a powerful qualitative data analysis software that is especially useful for larger datasets, multi-method data collection, longer interviews, or long-term projects. The demonstration will highlight the software's ability to support a variety of data types, including multimedia and quantitative data, and enable teamwork and sophisticated coding and analyses.
