HAEC works to increase the use of cost-effective and timely impact evaluations to promote data-driven decision making in humanitarian programming. HAEC is currently funding six impact evaluations for emergency programs. In addition to funding studies, HAEC also disseminates templates, tools, and elevates recent and on-going causal research with the aim to increases humanitarian organizations awareness of impact evaluation feasibility, and to reduce the time, costs, and capacity barriers organizations may face in achieving their evaluation goals.
